Character and anticidents of a recruit are being verified by a central government department, which may include past employment, however generally it is not included.

Actually I was selected in Central government job. Immediately I have to join there. In my current private sector not giving reliving letter. My manager asked me to find your replacement profile, then only I release you. So may I know the real facts of private employment background verification of central government. Whether government sector will only check the previous government sector details or previous private employment details also they really check. 

Just because you have been selected, how do you presume that you need to join immediately?

Have you been provided with the attestation form? If so has it been filled up and submitted? Have you received the appointment and posting orders?

Hiding of any privious employment will be at your own risk. If you are caught there will be consequences and if not then also there will be consequences. Only differentiating factor is the negative and positive consequences.
