Hi.. I own 875sqft plot in Bangalore. BBMP wants me to leave a setback of 3ft on all sides which leaves me with 515sqft of construction. As far as what I have seen 90 percent bangalorean don't follow this rule due to huge price.. I too did not follow the setback rule considering this trend.. now due to my aunt who stays next to my plot and who is not absolute owner of the property (we do have 1/3 rd share in the property that she lives) is revengeful, has complained to bbmp and stopped my construction. I did appeal to bbmp commissioner but the appeal is rejected. Kindly advice... Is there any reference where a commoner has won a case against bbmp with regards to setback?? Iam advised to approach high court?.. why this injustice to few like us. I was also told the bbmp would not take any action unless neighbour complains... kindly advise my next course of action..🙏 Will I get a stay or injunction from the high court..
