udyam registration (executive)     27 April 2023

Yes, advocates can apply for MSME (Udyam) registration in their proprietorship name, provided they meet the eligibility criteria for the registration. To be eligible for MSME registration, the advocate's business should have an annual turnover of less than Rs. 5 crore and should not exceed the investment limit of Rs. 1 crore for the manufacturing sector or Rs. 50 lakh for the service sector.

The registration process for MSMEs (Udyam) can be done online through the Udyam registration portal. The advocate needs to provide basic details about their business, such as the name of the business, Aadhaar number, PAN number, and bank account details, among others.

Once the registration is complete, the advocate can avail various benefits provided to MSMEs, such as easier access to credit, subsidies, and government schemes.
