Career in ipr for comerce graduates

Hello,

Can any one tell me if a career in IPR is advisable for a commerce graduate (B.Com)?

I can understand that practicing patent laws related to pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, information technology and industrial designs are out of scope for a commerce grad but is a career in copyrights and trade mark laws possible for a non technical person? Is there any additional qualification required over and above a degree in law?

I would really appreciate if anyone could clarify the above.

Thanks & Regards,

Saptak

Law degree would not be sufficient.

You have to enroll as an advocate at you state bar association. Then you would be allowed to practice as and TM agent.
