Change of name

My husband has been converted to islam when he was 8 from then he has been practcing the same but he hasn'nt  changed the name legally he has both affidavit of name as well of change of religion as well the certificate from local masjid of conversion to islam after attaining the age of majority too now he wants to change the name use his muslim name everywhere even on the passport,bank documents,property documents etc can anyone tell me the procedure how it can be done.

You can apply through concerned application to the Department of Printing  and Stationery to  publish the name change in the Govt Gazette. For the same you have to submit an affidavit stating the reason. You can attach the receipt from masjid. You hold valid reason for the name change. so proceed furhter with gazette publication.
