Child interim custody -order pending for more than 6 months

My child custody petition is pending in Family Court for last 6 months, what are my options to force family court to give verdict? Can I approach High Court?

Thanks,

Yes, This is what you can do

1. File urgency hearning petition in the court where the case is currently pending. you  should give welface of child  and other applicable urgent  hearing as reason  and should pray for urgently completing the hearing - with suggested timelines like that opposite should file all rejoineders within next fifteen days and judgment should be given within month.

2.  In the petition state your day to day availability for court proceedings so that judge latter can not say that parties were not co-operating.

3. Give couple of dates for judge to act.

4. If nothing happens file  misc WRIT in high court for instruction to the lower court for completing hearing within timeline.

I can provide you more details if you need
