Chs transfer fee complaint in consumer court

Hello,

My society has charged me more than the permissible limit of transfer premium at the time of transferring membership. I complained regarding the same to the Registrar and he replied back stating that I should approach co-operative court and file a complaint under Section 91. I want to know if I can file a case in a consumer court instead of a co-operative court in order to get a quick resolution and save money and time.

Idont think that your allegation or complaint will come under the purview of Consumer Protection Act as your griviance pertains to membership fees.

File appliaction in co-operative court. Co-operative court can also give quick resolution.

But I can't claim compensation for mental harassment and legal charges there, right?
