Club house usage not allowed as dependent stay on rent

Hi,

My Wife's maternal grand mother has taken a flat in Malad West Mumbai. She and her husband all too old to use club house. As a care taker my wife and I moved to same building in rent. Now we want to register our selves as their dependent and want to use Club House but the Club House has denied the permission.

Club house has rules specifying that Grand Children, Parents & Parents - In -Law, Daughter-In-Law and Son-In-Law can use the club house if they reside in same premise of owner.

Club House Argues that:

1. Since she is maternal grandmother this does not apply to us to avail facility and only paternal grandmother's kids are allowed.

2. Since we are staying in rent, we can not use it. (They are not allowing tenants to use ClubHouse).

At best, in terms of Clause 4.3 (iv) only your wife, being grand child, of the resident member can be nominated.

Even this is not possible in view of Clause 4.3 (a) as  your wife is not residing in the same flat permanently with her grand mother/grand father.
