There is no such reservation or bar for or against such awarding of the contract. It depends on laid down Bye-laws, objections of committee members, and final decision. The responsibility factor is more on such a contractor who is a resident, and the committee should see that the rates are in tune with market rates and the contractor is using approved chemicals with such high standards that are used in other apartments also.

1. YES. The Mg.Committee of Society or RWA, is entitled to give Pest Control contract to ANYBODY which includes Resident vendors, provided there is no adverse conflict of interest in the same and further, is in the overall interest of the Society or RWA.
