Copy of anticipatory bail

A 498a has been filed by my friend for dowry and harassment. After IO’s investigation a charge sheet has been filed by the police. The accused was granted AB at the time of CS.

What are the usual terms of AB in a 498a case and can the complainant ask for a copy of AB granted to the accused. How can she obtain a copy of AB. The case has not yet come up for trial & the accused has been traveling abroad regularly.

If you know the case particulars and the Court, then one will be able to access the Order from the court website. Otherwise, by getting in touch with the Police, you can try to get a copy of the AB order.

Thank you Mr Ramchandran. Will try through the police; as we do not know any particulars/details of the case so far.

@OMpal Aggarwal:  When the querist says that he does not have any particulars/details of the case so far, how can he apply for certified copy of the AB order?

Why don't you apply mind before answering?
