Customr data stolen.

I own a buiness one of my employees stole a pen drive of mine containing my customer's email IDs and addresss, names, phone numbers.He then started his own business of the same product and is contacting my customes with the data that is with him.Sending his catalog, prices to my customers at lower rates , which is mounting to losses for me.Can I file case against him? If I do what section can I prosecute him under? Can I claim profit percentage in his business? What can be done to bring him to justice?

If you've irrefutable evidence that the pan drive belongs to you you can file theft case against that person who stole your pendrive and file an in injunction petition against him from copying or using yourcustomer data for his ends/proifits. You can get profits from him.
