Deceased property

hi,

My late father has not left any will . I have my widow mother and one elder sister. we have 2 flats. out of which one flat is in my father's name. this flat which is in my father's name , I would like to transfer it in my mother's name & and my name and other flat which is in my mother's name has to be in my mother's name and in my sister name. kindly suggest what can be done and how it has to be done.

You can divide the property by mutual understanding into two or three or else either two persons or one person may relinquish their rights in favour of other legal heirs.

In deceased person property if your sister gives consent then it will be transferred jointly to you and your mother name.as your mother owns another property in her name she has to submit to concerned authorities along with her daughter to change  for joint  ownership .
