This is connection with a general perception that 'Two-year membership is essential to vote and to become an office bearer' of housing society'.I heard that " Maharashtra Government had issued a Gazette notification, on October 29, 2003, by the Cooperation, Marketing and Textile Department, exempting the housing society members from the two year waiting period imposed under Section 27 (3A) and Election Rule No. 12(ih).
