Forged signature

Respected Lawyers,

'A' filed section 420 case against his daughter regarding a property and expired. When enquired about the complaint, she found that the signature is not her father's rather it was forged. Can she now register a forgery complaint? Also, please give a clarity if the forgery complaint she registers is proved not right, will she be arrested? Since the police say that the complaint from her father was taken in the presence of them. What are  the possible solutions for her?

Thanks in Advance

If complainant before his death, did not appear in the court and deposed against the daughter, the case will be dismissed. The daughter has nothing to prove. If complainant appeared and whether the daughter's counsel put a question that the signature was forged or not? If he did not put such a question, that is a disadvantage to the daughter.
