Gift deed

Hello,

I inherited a house in goa, which my grandfather gave me through a gift deed. this was done in 1999 and he died a few years later.

How do i now change the title on the land to my name???

File an application before the concerned revenue/city surve office along with the xerox copy of the gift deed to change it into your name.

Hello

my wife got a property in gift from her meternal grandmother but the land no. (khasara no.) got printed wrong. Is that gift deed is still valid and how it could be corrected if downer is dead.

Thank you for your response...I am presently living abroad....do i have to be in the country to have the name changes or can a member of my family do it on my behalf.
