Is Indian Investor (esp. Middle Class) so helpless against bully, rude and Insensitive Builder and their Lobby.... They can do anything and get away without any difficulty..... They can maintain HIGH HANDEDNESS and BULLY YOU..
The middle class (esp. working) may feel like a Bechara! With their APPROACH of "NON-CONFRONTATION with anyone" (as they are busy struggling to give themselves BEST in their life WHILE GIVING THE BEST MOMENTS, NAME & FAME and PRIDE to their country and Economy). They are a easy target of some unscrupulous elements (esp. in this sector -- Fondly called REAL ESTATE) ....... With INDIA making a fast progress in all the fields, this real estate sector (I feel) has a long way to go before it becomes free from Dubious deals, cunning and dishonest lobby who feel least perturbed to bully anyone (who questions them).
The cheating like wrong Carpet Area, Excess (more than said) Loadings, charging on Super built up area in stead of Carpet Area etc. etc. Many people must have felt the pinch during dealing with them at any point..... Many do not come forward to share...... many lament......
They are so powerful, fearful and free from any fear of Bypassing Law of the Land/ Country/ State and Govt. Regulations (time to time)... one can read Today Hindustan Times, Mumbai Edition (Page 06) "Title: BUILDERS DISCOUNT ETHICS, GOVT. NORMS at MCHI FAIR". Reading this article, one can assume the story.
If matter goes to Honourable Courts/ Civil Forums ..... then it may take years to get the problem solved... People (experienced and mature) advise to avoid this... It may cause a hole in pocket with little or more or no little (NO GUARANTEE) of getting justice early...........
May be implementation of the Law of Land is weak, no super authority to check their accountability and functioning, providing instant relief to customers etc............
So, not much thinking of RIGHT or WRONG, one must be robust and strong enough to feel and get punch and blows, because of "NON-CONFRONTATION with anyone attitude" as there are things in Life which demands more attention and one should not not get stuck up where there is remote chance of getting out (due to many reasons....)
