If no money for court fees

Hello All

I have to file civil suit for damages wherein huge court fees needs to be paid..............

Is there a provision in law where I can institute the suit with either "zero court fees" or as less court fees as possible...Can it be possible that I pay court fees on a later day i.e. close to the order date.

Please guide me.

Yes you can file the suit as an indigent as per Order 33 of the CPC, called suit 'informa pauperis' You can file this suit if you don't have means to pay the court fees or are not entitled to property worth more than 1000 rupees. Once you file this application the court would conduct an enquiry - and the opposite party would get a chance to oppose and prove you are not indigent. If you succeed then governemnt would have teh first charge on the property - and get it's court fees out.
