Income tax for online seller

Income tax for the sales in amazon, flipkart etc.

I am planning to sell items in amazon. These items are collected from villages and hoseholds where there is no proof for purchase.

I am aware there is GST involved. But what about the income tax. Apart from GST, do I have to include the money from sales while considering my income for ITR filing.?

1. Should I consider sales or profit?

2. As there is no proof of purchase, ow can I submit evidence for the profit?

3. Which ITR, if I have other salary as well?

Thanks in advance

Regards,

Joseph

Income-tax is calculated at specified rates on total income of a person and paid directly to the Central Government.ITR) is a statement of income and tax thereon, which is to be furnished by a taxpayer to the Income-tax Department in prescribed form. Every year different forms of returns of income are prescribed by the Income-tax Department for different taxpayers having different income from different sources.
