Information

Hi, I wanted to know from a legal stand point, is recieving a document the same as accepting. In one case my friend's boss has advise him that since he signed while recieving a letter, it will be considered as his acceptance, even if he has not put word "accepted" only mentioned "recieved". Thanks.

In that case it is a reciept and may not be deemed acceptance.
