Insurance

my cousin gave his car one of his friend to use, on the way met with
accident and friend died and other members in the car sustained
injury. FIR lodged by one like that they were hired the car. When
applied for claim, insurance company rejected,stating that there is
mentioned in the  FIR that car was hired. Actually the car is having
private registration and full cover insure. Please advise.

You file application before the Moor Accidents Claims Tribunal. The Tribunal would decide the issue.

In the above case it is a clear case for voilation of terms and conditions  of insurance policy,Hence no liability can be fastened upon insurance company.Only owner of that car is liabile to pay third party risks.

Dear friend  your friends  approach it self wrong , so he is not entitled to get the compensation from the insurance company.
