is perjury is against the court? what will happen if could not proved?

1. Perjury is intent to mislead; it can be against the Court of Justice or against other person especially in a Court proceeding either in statements made under oath or in signed and it is a nature of crime and is not taken lightly by Court(s) if proved.  

2. If not proved in a complaint case; matter under perjury will get dismissed, other party may ask for Cost and/or Court may herself impose Cost on person who initiated perjury proceedings and was not able to lead in accordance with law.
