My Husband was working as a team lead in a MNC in India. He got a Job Offer from a company in Singapore. There they said work will be in client location that is some other company. They have sent offer letters and and processed visas too. On the day of relieving from current company the singapore compnay HR (incharge of this hire) called my husband and told that the client was not in a position to go with the hire. So we are revoking the offer. Now my husband is jobless and feeling sad all the time.
Is there anyway we can take some legal action on the company for compensation?
They did not mention anything in the offer letter about revoking the offer before joining.
They and my husband both signed on offer letter.
No e-mail notice says that they revoked offer(on telephone it happened), though we asked a mail confirmation they did not respond.
Please help me in this regard
