The consumers activists, consumer groups and advocates have thanked the Hon'ble Chief Minister Dr. Kalaignar M. Karunanidhi and the Central Minister for Fertilizer & Chemicals & Madurai Parliament Member Mr. M.K. Alagiri for granting approval for setting up of Circuit Bench of the State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission at Madurai. The Government Order was welcomed all over the southern districts by bursting of crackers, distributions of sweets.

justice at door is fine....but this idea will be not be good for smaller states.
however the govt. should accept the demands of the people....and this step in Tamilnadu will certainly reduce costs and time for the litigants.
hope there will be consistency of judgments of the State Commission.
