My father died in 1993
His 4 brothers are happy to let the joint propery remain in his and their 4 names

Is there a law which says that your property should be in your name
so that in the income tax act
under income from house propery
you show the propery and pay the income tax on it
we are 2 brothers the only legal heirs of my father
my brother stays in the USA too far away and not bothered by indian taxation laws
