We hereby request you to provide your valuable guidance in captioned subject. The committee members didn't even bother to notify its valid reason to respective society members. Can we dissolve such an irresponsible committee? Thanks and oblige.

You shall take this to the notice of the Dy./Joint Registrar of Cooperative Societies of your district. Why all the members of the society did not ask about the AGM for the last 2 two years?

If the existing committee is not interested to conduct a AGM and the process for election to appoint new members dissolving the old committee, yoiu can give a representation to the Dy./Joint registrar about it and request it to intervene and take action as per law.
The Annual General Meeting(AGM). It is singularly the most awaited and most important event for any apartment complex or housing society.
An annual general meeting is successful only when the management committee makes it a point to inform all residents about the meeting.

What type of Society it is there i.e., Cooperative or RWA etc. as different laws apply in each case ?
