This is regarding Maintenance for second wife after husbands death.
Man 'A' married Women 'B' . They have 2 childern. After 20 years of their marriage the man 'A' falls for a 2nd Women I'll call her 'C', a 'A's neighbour.They exchange garlands secretly in the presence of couple of 'C's relatives in 'C's house. Relatives make sure that they take few photos of this garland exchange.This happens without following any formalities of hindu marriage like barat, purohit, etc.
He meets this 2nd lady once in a month/week or so.As she pesters him with the photos she/relatives had taken.
He poses to his first wife that everthing is fine & he maintians a normal relationship with the first wife. After 12 years of his 2nd marriage/relationship he expires having one self-earned property on his name.
As 'A's 2nd marrige gets nullified/void(no divorce/termination of 1st marriage), 'C' is not the legal heir for this property. Please correct me if I am wrong.
Now is the 2nd wife, 'C' eligible for any maintainence after 'A's death, based on the property 'A' has left ?
