Maintenance urgent

Husband was against wife to work after marriage...she quit work because of husband pressure....n now in maintance case can wife claim to be living n enjoying same like as she was getting in matrimonial home... can husband say she can work n earn she is graduate....but he himself stopped her to work....

The wife can seek maintainance from the husband. Other things like capacity to earn and past earning experience will be considered and weighed as per the facts and circumstances of the individual case.

What about the maintaining same status she was getting in matrimony house...

@Twinkle you can mantain same status in your matrimonial home only. Getting maint. at parents place to maintain same economic status as in matrimonial place will depend on your capacity to earn as well as who was at fault for separation. Regards ASHOK

No one can stop you to work, except your husband/in-law and requirement/traditions in your matrimonial home. However, If you have the capability, capacity, ability agility and willingness you should work. If you can work and not working, it goes against you for maintenance.  Regarding maintaining the standard and status  as of your in-laws you can claim and have.

Why do u want to maintain the same status as u had in husband house.....while living now in ur parents house ????

If u r capable and can earn, then u can maintain urself and court may take cognisance of this and will pass interim orders on this basis....

Rest u can even ask anything in petition even the white house
