Marriage certificate

Go to local Sub Registrar's office between 10 am & 3 pm on all the working days, except Government Holidays. 
Pay the prescribed fees. 
Fill up the prescribed form. 
Carry 10 to 12 Passport size joint photograph of the Couple. 
Let both of them sign. 
Get the signatures of three witness with their name and residential address and their signatures. 
Wait for sometime for signature of the concerned authorities. 
Distribute sweets to all the officials there. 
Get your two certificates. If you want extra copies pay extra fees and give sufficient photographs for the purpose. 
Your work is over.

For what reason you need the certificate? See whether the affidavit is admissable in that matter.
