Not receiving a relieving order

Dear Sir, I was admitted in a Rehabilitation centre for a mental stress and unable to go to office and inform about my absent. However, I responded to my HR email regarding his question about my absent. Still I was terminated and our HR refusing to give me a relieving order. Is this the legal act?

Hi,

Employer is not bound to give you relieving letter. Since you have remained absent without notice, your employer can terminate your services. It is not illegal. It would be helpful to reach an agreement with the authority in order to recieve your letter.

I hope this helps.

Have a good day.
