Learn the patent Act and Rules by heart, it is the only book which can help you.
Patent Agent examination consists of two papers and interview.
Paper 1 is totally basewd on the patent act and rules
Paper 2 includes hypothetical situations where you are supposed to reply to your clients queries based on patent Act and rules. The only question that has to be studied outside the patent act is drafting of a specification. For that I would suggest open USPTO site and there search few patents and read how they are written.
