Sir,
I have purchased a property in 2008. I applied for registration of the property and it got pending, as there is a court case (WOFT Property case). So that registration got pending registration. Now i am asking the vendor to return my sale consideration with interest. But they are saying that if the case is solved in favour of us that registration may stands good. But i have paid the money and today i am not the owner of the property.
Please guide me in this regard.

I believe, you had not taken adequate precaution, while entering deal with the sellar. You should have got the title of the property searched before deal. You have not indicated whether u had any agreement to sale prior to sale deed. Any way, if the sellar do not pay the sale amount, you have the option of filing civil suit for refund of the amount, besides criminal complaint for cheating..
You may also think of waiting for some time for disposal of the WAQF case... also enquire with local lawyers about time being taken by the courts for such disposal, as the time various from place to place and judge to judge..
