Please suggest a good institute to study LLB through Corres.

Hello,

I am Alagu Perumal Ramasamy, Ph.D. in International Business. I work as Assistant Professor in Loyola Institute of Business Administration, Chennai. I am interested in acquiring knowledge in Law.   I would be glad if someone could kindly suggest a good institute (preferably in Chennai or Tamil Nadu) where I could join for LLB through correspondence. I have checked the website of IGNOU and it looks like they don’t offer LLB through correspondence.
I am aware that the correspondence degree in Law is not recognized for practicing in the Courts. My purpose is not that anyway. The soul reason is to acquire knowledge. Kindly give me your suggestions.

Regards
Dr. Alagu Perumal Ramasamy

There is no college offering correspondence LLB course in india.

If your sole purpose is only to acquire knowledge you can do BAL (Bachelor of Academic laws) or  BGL (Bachelor of General laws) conducted by Annamalai University through correspondence.  These courses merely confer degrees with no right to practice or seek employment in legal field.
