Posession of property

Mr A sold land with building by registered sale deed to Mr B in 2018. Mr A vacated from the land in 2019 after demolishing the building. But till 2021 house tax paid in name of Mr A.

Latest electricity bills are still in name of Mr A's grand father who died 10 years back.

Now in 2022, Mr A layed a shed in the same vacant land claiming that he is in posession showing latest electricity bills.

Now MrB who is actual owner holding construction plan approval issued by panchayat in his name claiming vacant land should not have domestic electricity meter that to in name died person.

my doubt is WHETHER ELECTRICITY BILLS CONSIDERED AS PROFF OF POSESSION OF PROPERTY

No electricity bill is proof of property. Possession of property may prove physical or lawful possession, either of himself or by him through his family members or agents or lessees/licensees. Even in respect of a land without structures, as for example an agricultural land, possession may be established with reference to the actual use and cultivation.
