I have received 2 property tax bills from my society regarding my flat. 1 is correct and paid up, the second bill society says must be collected on behalf of builder as they have paid it to municipality. I have disputed this and have not paid. Now they are charging me interest on this amount in their billing. Is this legal and can they do this. I have being staying in the complex since last 5 years. Can the builder now instruct society to enforce this collection. Please legal advise. Thanks
