Property transfer to daughters

We are three daughters with two of my sisters living abroad. Myself with my two daughters and husband have moved in with my parents living in a rental house in mumbai suburbs.

The rental property is in the name of my mother and my family has been living here since past 40 years.

We have no brothers and my fathers/mother have not yet made any will. Although me and my family physically live with my parents since past three years our names do not figure on their ration card.

My parents are 75 and 73. I would like to know our legal right to this rental flat.

What would be our claim to the flat after my parents ?

You can claim tenancy rights after their death as per the provisions of the mah. rent control act.

Prepare a will in your name through your mother stating the rental premises. It will convert in your name after the demise.
