Regarding distribution of property

My father had a property purchased of his own in the year 1980. We are three brothers and one sister. My sister got married in the year 1973. Both my mother and father died. Who are the legal heirs of the propety? Sons and Grandsons of the property or all the four i.e including daughter?

If the legal heirs are alive, father dying intestate the property devolves upon the legal heirs, and if any legal heir had predeceased, his  or her heirs are eligible for a share, till such time the property had to be partitioned among all legal heirs, the question of grand sons and daughters does arise till the above said situation arises.
