AS FAR AS WILL IS CONCERNED IT IS NOT MANDATORY  TO GET IT REGISTERED. BUT IT IS ALWAYS ADVISABLE TO GET IT REGISTERED IN ORDER TO MAKE IT MORE AUTHENTIC IN CASE WILL IS CHALLENGED . AS FAR AS POWER OF ATTORNEY IS CONCERNED IT DEPENDS  UPON THE FACTS AND CIRCUMSTANCES AND THE PURPOSE FOR WHICH POWER OF ATTORNEY IS GIVEN.IN CASE OF GIVING POWERS OF SALE OF PROPERTY IT IS MADATORY TO GET THE SAID POWER OF ATTORNEY REGISTERED
