Relieveing Letter and Experience Certificate

Hi,

I have been working for an IT firm since 3.5 years and i had to shift to different location due to my family issues so I got a Job and I wanted to get relieved. I put my resignation and served 1month more than the notice period where in now my manager doesn't want me leave and requesting me to continue but my current employer is not ready to extend the date. So i told the same to my manager asking him to relieve at the earliest. Now he is warning me that If i wont serve then he will not be giving me the relieveing letter and experience certificate. In this case what shall i need to do? I request for an expert advice on this. Please do help me.

Regards,

Ravi

In your case, deemed acceptance of resignation could be assumed. If the experience certificate is essential , it is the discretion of the management or employer . No law could force him to issue experience certificate.
