Revoking PoA

My paternal uncle banking on the goodwill of my parents got a POA giving him the rights to act on their behalf with respect to our ancestral property in Goa.My parents were naive enough not to get a copy of this document and my uncle refuses to give us any details now.

Where will I be able to get a copy of this PoA ?and is this required to cancel the PoA.?

Your parent can give him notice of cancellation of poa and also publish a notice in the local paper that the poa is cancelled and that no one should deal with him. However enquire with the registrar office that the said property is not already sold.

Mr Niranj Suggestion is correct  !

First t give a Notice to Your uncle  statign that (there is no POA ) the POP is cancelled ,  the same may be  served and publish  a Paper Puiblication   for the information  of General Public

Thankyou Sir for your prompt response.

I guess that this PoA woul have to be registered in Goa and hence it has to be a local goan newspaper.

Thankyou once again.
