I am part of Bhoomi Hills soc. Kandivli (E). All the residents of the said soc. have been facing lot of troubles from the builder over many matters. After years of patience, we have finally decided to go LEGAL. FOllowing is a summary of our issues:
1. There was a significant delay in giving possession. delay of atleast 13 - 15 mnths, of which some part was due to forest issue. We want to get compensated for the delay.
2. The builder is yet to complete construction of club house, even though we have been living here since last 2 years almost.
3. Builder is not making efforts to obtain OC and doesnt seems to be interested in handing over the society and its management.
4. We had been promised parking at time of purchasing flats. However, now builder is demanding double the amount.
5. Builder has made quite a few major changes to the plan shown in brochures
I do not wish to bore you with small issues and hence not mentioning them. I would like your opinions on the above issues. Obvously, experts woyuld like to know the specifics/details. The society is looking to hire a good lawyer and after interaction with soem of you, we will opt for one.
