Sucession certificate

Hello,

i would request you to please provide me resolution to my query.

We had applied for an Apartment in my mothers name and suddenly my mother passed away. We did not have a will and hence the apartment people which is branded apartment wanted my father to apply for a succession certificate for the apartment transfer.

note: it is still not occupied and the same is the agreement stage

Am the only son for my parents and we do not have any opponents.

I and my father applied for the succession certificate and now it has reached the ORDER STAGE.

My Question is:

1) what is order

2) what is the next stage after order

3)How many days does it take after this stage

4) By when approx we may get the succession certificate.

5) is there a chance for rejection in this stage

It has almost taken 8 months to reach this stage and my father is really tensed as we are in a very bad condition.

please advice

You should be lucky that your succession certificate case came up to the stage of order within 8 months from the date of filing. After this you will get a copy of the court order mentioning the successors
to your deceased mother, with which you can get the properties transferred unto your both the names or on either one's name by another relinquishing their rights in favor of another.
