Technical resignation

Dear all,

I am Suman. I joined ISRO, Govt. Of India on 16th sep.,2010 as Electronics engineer...last year 2012 june, I applied for U.P.S.C. Engineering Services exam. I qualified in written exam and interview also recently in june 2013.UPSC didnot ask for N.O.C.

I informed my Admin officer through proper channel recently after interview result. My doubt is whether I am eligible for Technical resignation.

Thanks in advance.

Mr. Prem Joshi is right. You should inform in writing through proper channel.

I informed my office through proper channel in writing...not before writing exam. But recently after interview result only I informed. Now my question is whether I am eligiblle for Technical resignation and whether my service will be carry forwarded.

Thanks.

read advise of Mr Prem Joshi not understood the meaning of "send the written notice application through proper channel." so I canneither agree nor disagree.

Be clear:-

(i) UPSC does not invite application trhough proper channel.

(ii) UPSC weants that you should inform your deptt inwriting within one month of the application.  Y9ou did nto do so.

(iii) You have already applied and attended interrview.

(iv) you have now informed the deptt

(v) deptt has discretion (not compulsion) to condone your lapse.
