Time limitation to file appeal in high court against sec 24

ask yourself a few questions before filing appeal:

what is the amount that is ordered?

is it affordable to you right now?

maintainence will anyhow have to be paid, there is no running away from it.

you will only be filling your lawyers pockets as fews, just to save a few hundred rupees, that too is a lottery, if it is not successful, then that money goes down the drain..

the decision is up to you....................

Thanks for the reply But the order amount is unusually high Rs 20,000 per month. 12000 per month to the wife and 8000 per month to the child. Husband cannot afford this.

Husband is currently unemployed although he was employed 3 years back. Order passed on assumption that he might be doing business with his father in his factory as claimed by wife in her application. The assumption taken by session court can be clearly proved wrong with documentary proofs since the alleged factory is partnership firm, where father of husband is 1/4th partner.

Husband has nothing to do with that firm. He has never been partner of that firm, nor he has ever worked there as an employee or on contract.

Moreover income of father from that firm is also very meagre.

Please suggest, what should be done in such circumstances.

Please also answer on my query, what is time limit allowed for appeal in high court in such cases.
