Unavailable space for parking

My housing soc consists of 10 members out of which 5 are car owners. Our soc consisted of open parking space(5 cars) and then became got the rule to pay the required monthly amount to park the car. Recently the sec of my housing society issued a letter stating that the parking space available in our housing society is unavailable. This was suddenly brought up even after parking space being available. I have been paying the soc parking fees  for the past 2 years and parking my car in the compound. The letter stated that  according to the co-op housing soc bye-law 78(b) i cannot park the car in the compound. How can I regain my rights to park the car in the available space? Also on what basis does the soc members get parking and what is the exact meaning of available space?
