Vested land

Dear Sir,

My father had purchasd a piece of land at Garia,South 24 parganas in West Bengal in 1973 and the sale deed was registered at BLRO, Sonarpur ( about 4 KMs from Kolkata ) .Previously it was under gram panchayat and after 2002 it is under Rajpur Sonarpur Municipality. So as per rule Kajna & taxes was given accordingly, suddenly municipality refused to take taxes in 2010 because the land was declared Vested in BLRO records.Father died on 2010.We have the sale deed, tax receipts, elec. bill, tele bill, voter id card, ration card at the address.

Now the problem is that the house is so old , we starts to re construct & renovate ,but the councilor obstruct for plan.

so we are in big trouble.

What to do? Please help us.

Is your piece of land 'bastu' or 'shali' in the record?
