What is pre requisites property tax in chennai

Hi All

We got our property tax accessed. But now corporation has sent a notice regarding the violation of approved plan but tax was calculated for the violated area also and paid the tax.

Is approved plan not ceriteria for tax assesment?

Then why we need to submit the approved plan copy to them for assessment?
