Dear All,
I am working in a project funded by Govt of India. I am not entitled to any leave except public holiday. if I take leave, the salaries of respective days are deducted . means I am not entitled for paid leave even single day.
in my appointment letter there is no mention of any single point related to leave. means it is silent regarding leave. nowhere it is written that there will be unpaid leave.
in the aforesaid, my queries are:
whether there is any law /rule protecting my rights?
whether I can claim for certain leaves with payment ?
whether there is obligation of govt funding organization to provide leaves to their employees?
please give appropriate legal references
please guide me
