498a noc from old lawyer

In my case me and parents have got bail ( me regular bail and parents anticipatory bail from HC ) . I and parents had signed vakalatnama respectively before my lawyer could apply bail for me and do anticipatory bail formalities for my parents . Police yet to file a chargesheet . Just wanted to know whether I require a NOC from my Old lawyer in case i want to hire a new lawyer when chargesheet comes and i want to do the future formalities through new lawyer .

is it the case that Vakalatnama which i signed earlier is valid only till bail for the old lawyer and hence i can easily hire a new lawyer from chargesheet time or do i need to still take a NOC from old lawyer before i hire a new lawyer to do formalities after chargesheet will come .

What does the law say ?

since the chargesheet hasnt been filed you can change the lawyer now by issuing a notice to him stating that you would wish to terminate his services.
