If so, issue notice to your so-called "friend" through a local lawyer.

You have stated to have purchased agriculture land "from your friend" in favour of "your friend" ?
Show the sale/ purchase documents to a local prudent lawyer, if it is a true story, which is prima facie unbelievable.

1. You can prefer to file local Civil Court suit to rescind /revoke the Land Name Transfer to your friend, on grounds of non-payment.
2. AFTER following proceedures of Law, the would give order to trasnfer land back in your name.
