By amending Article 368 of the Indian Constitution the Indian Territory can be ceded to a foreign state.
However, the 1960 Supreme Court ruling in a case the court said that the settlement of a boundary dispute between Indai and another country does not require a Constitutional amendment.
The famous Supreme Court case relating to this is Re: Berubari Union case.
